Legend Racing Chassis began in 1993 in a small garage in Clarinda Iowa.  Originally the plan was to buy equipment, build fixturing and buy enough steel and parts to build 10 sprint chassis.  Word got out and that I was going to build karts and the first one was sold to Brandon VandenBerg of Rock Valley Iowa before it was even built.  The first kart has since been reacquired and is hanging in the back of my shop awaiting restoration.

Over the next few years we acquired many dealers and were selling hundreds of karts per year.  At that time we made the decision to turn over all marketing to Frank Massen of Council Bluffs Iowa since he was our biggest dealer.

At the beginning of the 2009 chassis year we again took over marketing and are setting up dealers and selling direct from our shop in Sioux Center Iowa.  It will take a little time to get organized and well stocked so please bear with us during this transition.  My 13 year old son, Logan, built this website.   

Legend Racing Chassis has recently teamed up with Tom Rayl  at TRR Racing and is now distributing  our karts through TRR.
